del.icio.us

Talk about being a late adopter! Cote's been talking about del.icio.us for over a year now and I just now got around to looking at it in depth. Needless to say, I'm hooked! I set up my own del.icio.us account.

One thing I've noticed is that people's del.icio.us pages are not the same thing that they would put in their browser's personal bookmarks list, but rather a public-facing representation of bookmarks they would like to "publish." Still, it's interesting to see what links on the internet people are sharing with each other.

Update: I suppose I should point everyone to the delicious plugin for Firefox. It makes your del.icio.us usage that much easier.

Grand Theftendo!

Brian Provinciano's been hard at work on Grand Theftendo, an NES port of Grand Theft Auto. You can read all about it on his website. It doesn't look like the game is available for download yet. via [X-Arcade's gaming newsletter]

Paying for Performance

Awesome. Of course I would worry about collusion among teachers and students to boost scores in return for splitting of rewards.

FoxyTunes is chock full of musical goodness

Apparently, FoxyTunes works with Mozilla Thunderbird too! Rockin!

And did I mention that you can now skin Foxytunes? Of course you can!

I've got something in my pocket...

Yesterday I decided to dig my old Palm Vx out of the drawer and recharge it. I've decided to see if I can do anything cool with it. I bought the thing about 4 years ago and used it for about 3-4 months and then got sick of it. To be honest, I never saw much use for PDAs, so I really don't know why I'm gonna try and use it now. I'm hoping to find some cool little hack to do on it, but I really don't have any idea what that would be.

If you can think of any cool uses for a ratty old Palm Vx, feel free to leave a comment in the wiki.
